[15.11.2024] Ceremony of MOU on Core Minerals between Yeongwol County and HCMC University of Natural Resources and Environment

On November 15, 2024, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment (HCMUNRE), an Ceremony of MOU on Core Minerals took place with Yeongwol County, South Korea. This event marked an important step in the cooperation between the two sides in the field of mineral resource exploitation and management.

From the Korean side, Mr Choi Myeong Seo the mayor of Yeongwol county, Mr Yoo Young Man Director of Industry&Economy Division; Mr You Hong Gyun Team Leader of Industry&Economy Division; Mr Lee Jung Gon Team Leader of Planning Audit Office; Mr Eum Kwang Yeol Director of Yipa and Mr Choi Sung Bum Researcher of Yipa attended.

Ceremony of MOU between Korea and Vietnam on Core Minerals

On behalf of the Korean side, Mr. Choi Myeong Seo – Mayor of Yeongwol County had a few welcoming words and he also said that based on the diverse experiences of Vietnamese agencies and organizations, when we build a foundation for cooperation, and actively promote the exchange of science – technology – human resources, I think it will be a stepping stone to help Yeongwol County become a leading city in core minerals.

The cooperation between the Yeongwol Industrial Promotion Agency (YIPA) and the HCMC University of Natural Resources and Environment brings great opportunities for the Vietnamese mineral industry.
